Dr. Daniel Vinson is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He offers the full spectrum of advanced-technology lens implants to help reduce his patients’ dependence on eyeglasses, bifocals, or reading glasses after cataract surgery. He has training in performing laser vision correction with LASIK and PRK as well as ICL implantation for the correction of myopia. He also provides laser treatments and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) for the treatment of glaucoma.
Dr Vinson completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at UT Permian Basin and his medical doctorate at Texas Tech University. He completed his internship in general surgery in Lubbock, TX before moving to Florida for his ophthalmology residency at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, where he served as chief resident during his final year.
Invested in serving his community throughout his residency, Dr. Vinson solicited grants and donations from medical societies and ophthalmic industry partners to provide pro-bono cataract surgery to the underserved communities of Palm Beach County. He also participates in international mission work most recently in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Dr. Vinson joined The Medical Eye Center in the fall of 2025 and is very excited to introduce his young family to New England. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Christian Ophthalmology Society.
